Hanwha Aerospace strives to improve the survivability and combat power by developing Arion-SMET(Multi-purpose UGV) and Arion-L(Unmanned-Reconnaissance Vehicle) to provide remotely-controlled reconnaissance mission capability.

Unmanned System for a Soldier

Arion-SMET performs reconnaissance and fires support mission in front infantry units. Also, Arion-SMET is capable of evacuating casualites and transporting supplies in order to minimize the loss of forces and maximize combat efficiency through Manned and Unmanned-Teaming(MUM-T).

Artificial Intelligence Vehicle

With the help of Artificial Intelligence, Arion-SMET can autonomously move by lead & follow through wire-tethering and return back when communication is lost. Also, UGVs are capable of relaying communications to extend the control distance and controlling real-time driving, and it has the feature to automatically identify and display vehicles/human information on control devices.
