Hanwha Aerospace will, for the first time, act as Event Partner of the 5th Military Family Picnic organised by the Artillery Museum in Toruń – an event dedicated to the history and traditions of Polish artillery and to honouring the heroes who fought for independence.
The picnic is part of the nationwide celebrations of the Polish Armed Forces Day, established to commemorate the victorious Battle of Warsaw – the “Miracle on the Vistula”. In 1920, Poland stopped the westward advance of Bolshevism, protecting not only its independence but also the future of all Europe.
The central highlight of this year’s celebrations will be the largest parade in Warsaw, featuring, among others, Homar-K multiple rocket launchers and K9 self-propelled howitzers delivered by Hanwha Aerospace in cooperation with the Polish defence industry. The programme will also include a naval parade.
