Hanwha Aerospace and Hanwha Systems will showcase solutions in artillery, multi-layered air defence, unmanned systems and new AI-powered technologies at this year’s MSPO in Kielce. The exhibition will also highlight the next stage in the development of Hanwha’s cooperation with Poland and the Polish defence industry.

Hanwha’s cooperation with Poland began more than a decade ago, when the K9 chassis was selected for Poland’s Krab self-propelled howitzer in 2014. In the following years, the partnership expanded to include the K9 self-propelled howitzer and K239 Chunmoo programs, with the latter operating in the Polish Armed Forces as HOMAR-K. Today, Hanwha is expanding this cooperation into new areas, while increasing the involvement of Polish industry and the scope of technology transfer.

One of the key areas of this year’s exhibition will be **multi-layered air defence**. Hanwha will showcase solutions designed to counter a wide range of threats, from small unmanned aerial vehicles to long-range missiles. These will include L-SAM, H-SHORAD, the H-Shield counter-UAS system and other C-UAS solutions. The exhibition will also feature laser technologies developed by Hanwha Systems.

**Unmanned systems and MUM-T (Manned-Unmanned Teaming)** will also play an important role in the exhibition. The concept brings together manned and unmanned platforms, reconnaissance assets, command-and-control systems and firepower within a single network. Hanwha will showcase solutions for the land domain as well as unmanned surface vessels, including Striker-S integrated with a Chunmoo launcher.

In the artillery domain, Hanwha will present **K9A2**, the latest variant of the K9 family, together with 155 mm ammunition solutions, including the K-MCS modular charge system. The exhibition will also feature four variants of guided rockets and missiles for the K239 Chunmoo, as well as technologies supporting equipment throughout its operational lifecycle.

Another new element of the exhibition will be **Hanwha Systems’ AI-based satellite imagery analysis solutions**. The technology enables automated analysis of electro-optical (EO), infrared (IR) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery, supporting object detection and classification while accelerating the processing of information for decision-making.

“The K9 and HOMAR-K programs have demonstrated our ability to turn commitments into concrete action. Today, we want to expand this cooperation into new areas – from artillery and ammunition to air defence, unmanned systems and emerging technologies. Our goal is to build capabilities and expertise in Poland and together with Poland that strengthen the country’s security and the sovereignty of its defence industry,” said **Jacek Cyrek, President and CEO of Hanwha Aerospace Europe**.

Hanwha Aerospace and Hanwha Systems invite visitors to their joint exhibition at **MSPO 2026, Hall 1, Booth A17**.
