At this year’s Association of the United States Army – AUSA 2025 exhibition in Washington, Hanwha Aerospace, together with Hanwha Defense USA, Inc., showcased a wide range of advanced land defense solutions, from artillery and combat vehicles to unmanned systems and modular charge technologies.
A highlight of the exhibition was the wheeled version of the K9A2 self-propelled howitzer, combining enhanced mobility with an automated loading system, as well as a smart factory model illustrating Hanwha’s concept for an intelligent 155 mm Modular Charge System (MCS) production line.
During AUSA, Hanwha signed two strategic agreements:
– a co-development and production partnership with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems for the Gray Eagle STOL unmanned system,
– a three-year framework agreement with Sweden’s FMV – Försvarets materielverk, valued at 110 million USD, for the supply of MCS to the Swedish Armed Forces.
Hanwha once again demonstrated in Washington its reliability and technological excellence, consistently developing solutions that support the modernization and interoperability of allied defense forces.
