Hanwha Aerospace Europe had the pleasure of serving as the Main Partner of the 6th Patriotic Children’s Day, organized by the Land Forces Museum – Artillery Museum in Toruń on 30 May 2026.
Once again, the event brought together families, military enthusiasts, and representatives of the defence community.
Supporting initiatives related to education, security, and engagement with local communities is an important part of Hanwha Aerospace Europe’s activities in Poland. The company is also actively involved in projects that promote history, tradition, and cooperation between industry, public institutions, and society.
The event offered a wide range of attractions, including displays of military equipment and uniformed services, concerts, competitions, military field catering, as well as numerous educational and recreational activities for children.
One of the most recognizable exhibits was the Homar-K multiple rocket launcher system, a result of industrial cooperation between Poland and the Republic of Korea in the field of advanced artillery systems. The system was presented by the newly formed 1st Rocket Brigade from Gostynin and the Artillery and Armament Training Centre in Toruń. The Homar-K attracted significant interest from visitors, who had the opportunity to take a closer look at one of the most advanced artillery systems currently operated by the Polish Armed Forces.
As part of its cooperation with the Artillery Museum in Toruń, Hanwha Aerospace Europe also supported competitions for the youngest participants by sponsoring prizes in the form of K9 self-propelled howitzer-themed puzzles. The puzzles were designed to combine education about modern military technologies with an engaging and enjoyable form of interactive learning.
Hanwha Aerospace Europe is proud to support initiatives that promote knowledge about security and defence while bringing local communities together through educational and patriotic events. Participation in the Patriotic Children’s Day provided another valuable opportunity to engage directly with local residents and raise awareness of modern defence solutions used by the Polish Armed Forces.
