Strategic Partnership Discussions
On the first day of the exhibition, Kim Dong-kwan, Vice Chairman of Hanwha Group, met with Faisal Al Bannai, CEO of EDGE Group – a leading defense company in the United Arab Emirates. The meeting focused on opportunities for strategic cooperation in the areas of land systems, unmanned technologies, maritime defense, and space solutions. Also present at IDEX was Michael Coulter, newly appointed Global Defense President & CEO, responsible for Hanwha Aerospace’s operations in the defense sector.
New Partnership in Unmanned Ground Vehicles
On the second day of IDEX 2025, Hanwha Aerospace and Milrem Robotics signed a cooperation agreement focused on the development and global promotion of Robotic Combat Vehicles (RCVs) and other ground-based robotic systems. By combining Hanwha’s defense expertise with Milrem Robotics’ advanced autonomy technologies, the two companies aim to accelerate the development of next-generation unmanned combat platforms.
