Hanwha Aerospace Europe joined the group of donors supporting Polish veterans.
The company took part in the 9th Charity Carnival Ball held on February 22 in Szczecin. The event was organized by the Association of Wounded and Injured in Missions Abroad, together with the 12th Mechanized Brigade. Funds raised during the ball will support rehabilitation of soldiers who suffered while serving.
During the event, Hanwha Aerospace Europe donated a model of the K9 howitzer in the “PL” version, which will soon enter service in the Polish Armed Forces.
“Security is not only about modern technology. It is above all about brave people who devote themselves to service every day. Hanwha Aerospace, as a socially responsible company, engages in initiatives aimed at helping those who have suffered due to their sacrifice for the safety of others, often under NATO auspices. We are proud to participate in this event and make a real contribution to supporting Polish veterans,” said Boo Hwan Lee, President of Hanwha Aerospace Europe, before the ball.
He added, “The year 2025 will be a year of support for Polish veterans for Hanwha Aerospace Europe, and our next initiative will be announced together with the Association during the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce.”
