The 7th edition of Defence24 Days has concluded. Over the past two days, Hanwha, as a strategic partner of Poland, actively contributed to the debate on the future of armed forces and the defense industry in our region.

Hanwha Ocean, Hanwha Aerospace, and Hanwha Systems presented their latest solutions across naval, land, and information domains. Most importantly, they emphasized their readiness to transfer technology and build local industrial capabilities in Poland, both under existing and future agreements.

Representatives of Hanwha participated in a key expert panel titled “Transformation of Missile and Artillery Forces” and in three major thematic blocks focused on the modernization of the Polish Land Forces, Navy, and Missile and Artillery Branches. It was an opportunity to present practical solutions and discuss how industrial cooperation can translate into real operational capabilities.

As part of the accompanying equipment exhibition, the Polish Armed Forces showcased the Homar-K rocket launcher and the K9A1 self-propelled howitzer, both already in service.

At the Hanwha Aerospace Europe booth, visitors could explore:

  • KSS-III Batch-2 – a modern submarine offered by Hanwha Ocean to the Polish Armed Forces, along with a comprehensive package of benefits.
  • Homar-K – a multi-launch rocket system based on the Chunmoo platform, localized with a Jelcz chassis and WB Group command and fire control systems.
  • TOMMS (Tactical Operation Multi Mission Suite) – a multi-domain MRO and C4ISR system developed by Hanwha Systems, fully interoperable with NATO and ready for integration into modern command structures.

For Hanwha, participation in the event was not only an opportunity to showcase advanced technologies but also a reaffirmation of its long-term commitment to strengthening the region’s defense capabilities through innovation, local collaboration, and tangible action.

Thank you.
