On the occasion of today’s Rocket and Artillery Forces Day, Hanwha Aerospace Europe extends its best wishes to all soldiers, civilian personnel, and their families. We wish you health, safety, satisfaction in your service and work, and pride in the achievements that strengthen the defence of the Republic of Poland. We hold in high regard the tradition, professionalism, and dedication of Polish artillerymen, who every day contribute to the strength and effectiveness of Poland’s artillery capabilities. Today’s celebration is also an opportunity to highlight the importance of this formation for the security of Poland and the NATO Alliance.
Yesterday, during the ceremony at the Monument to Polish Artillerymen in Toruń, a representative of HAEU – Michał Sadowski paid tribute to the soldiers who gave their lives in the service of the Fatherland. Flowers were laid on behalf of the company as a gesture of respect for their sacrifice and for the multi-generational legacy of Polish artillery. The ceremony gathered representatives of state institutions, the armed forces, veterans, and residents of Toruń.
Since Tuesday, representatives of Hanwha Aerospace Europe have participated in the “Future Artillery” conference organised by the Rocket and Artillery Forces Training Centre named after General Józef Bem. The sessions focused on contemporary artillery experience, including lessons from the war in Ukraine, ongoing modernisation efforts, and new technologies that enhance precision and fire effectiveness. HAEU’s participation, involving staff supporting the introduction and operation of the K9 and Homar K239 systems in Polish military units and cooperation with WRiA formations, enabled deeper dialogue and knowledge exchange with military partners on the development of modern fire-support capabilities.
Hanwha Aerospace Europe will continue to engage in long-term cooperation with Polish artillery units, supporting training, implementation, and operational processes that strengthen the readiness and effectiveness of the Rocket and Artillery Forces.
