Hanwha Aerospace Europe, headquartered in Warsaw, is a subsidiary of Hanwha Aerospace, founded in South Korea in 1977.
Hanwha Aerospace is a global leader in the aerospace and defense sectors. Its extensive product and service portfolio includes systems that enhance national defense capabilities, such as the K9 self-propelled howitzer, K239 Chunmoo (the Polish version known as HOMAR-K), and the AS 21 Redback Infantry Fighting Vehicle.
Hanwha Aerospace also manufactures precision-guided munitions and engines for air, space, and maritime platforms. As a systems integrator for Korean space vehicles, it leads Korean space projects.
Hanwha Aerospace Europe was established to represent the interests of Hanwha Aerospace.
